West Street, Dunstable, looking towards the Downs and Whipsnade Road from the entrance to Green Lanes. The modern flats have replaced the Windsock Public House which in turn had replaced The Rifle Volunteer. The photographer was standing near what was the old Pest House where victims of disease were housed.
